The Best Turkey Sandwich

Sometimes there is nothing better than a deli turkey sandwich for lunch. It can be hard to make them taste as good at home, but I was determined. After several variations this is my favorite. I love having a simple mixed green salad on the side. You will feel like you are at your favorite café.

Ingredients

2 slices rustic bread, I use a baguette

Dijon mustard

mayonnaise 

1 or 2 tomato slices

1 slice havarti cheese

deli turkey, 3-4 slices

romaine or butter leaf lettuce

Directions

Spread one piece evenly with Dijon and the other with mayonnaise. Then layer the remaining ingredients and top with the other bread slice.

Makes 1 sandwich
