Rosé Sangria
This sangria is light and refreshing and a perfect complement to summer meals. I alternate between adding Cointreau which adds a sweet citrus flavor or St. Germain which adds a touch of elderflower flavor. Both are delicious. I have tried adding a variety of different fruits, but this combo is my favorite. The peach flavor really shines.
Ingredients for Rosé Sangria
1 peach, chopped
½ cup strawberries, chopped
½ cup raspberries, chopped
¼ cup Cointreau or St. Germain Liqueur
1 bottle rosé
Directions for Rosé Sangria
In the morning, add the fruit to a carafe or pitcher. Pour the liqueur and rosé over the fruit. Let chill in the fridge for 4-5 hours or until dinner.
When serving, add a spoonful of the fruit to each glass. You can serve over ice or just the way it is, simply chilled.
