Jammy Overnight Oats
These overnight oats are ideal when you don’t have a lot of time for breakfast in the morning. On Sundays, I frequently make a few at a time so I have a ready to eat breakfast during the week. Sometimes I make them in a mason jar so they are easy to take with me to work. I tend to have a lot of different types of jam in my fridge and this is a fun way to use them aside from toast. I add fresh fruit and granola on top, but some other options include nuts, coconut, nut butter, or dried fruit.
Ingredients
½ cup old fashioned rolled oats
½ cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy free yogurt
½ cup oat milk, or other milk of choice
1 tablespoon jam
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Optional toppings: fruit, granola, nuts, nut butter, etc.
Directions
In a small bowl or mason jar, add the oats, yogurt, milk, jam, and chia seeds. Stir to combine. Cover and let sit overnight in the fridge.
Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
