Guava Peach Iced Tea

In the summer months I always have a pitcher of decaf iced tea on hand to stay hydrated, especially in those weeks where it is the 90s. Frequently I make it with the tea I have on hand, but I am also inspired by drinks I’ve had while I’m out and about. I remember a few years ago having a guava peach iced tea on a hot and humid day and it was so refreshing I knew I wanted to recreate it. The guava juice adds a fun burst of flavor with the tea.
Ingredients
4 peach tea bags*
2 cups guava juice (I use the Ceres brand)
2 tablespoons honey or agave
1 lemon sliced for garnish
Directions
Steep the tea bags in 4 cups of hot water for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and add in the honey/agave. Let cool.
Add the tea and guava juice to a medium sized pitcher and stir to combine. Fill 4 glasses with ice, pour in the tea, and add a lemon slice for garnish.
Serves 4
*I recently used Twinings Peach and Orange tea which was delicious.
