California Green Smoothie
After invigorating workouts, this California green smoothie is to to refuel with. It is light, fresh, and so creamy. I like using coconut water because it’s great for hydration and has potassium. It’s basically nature’s sports drink. Make sure to use frozen bananas or it won’t have the same consistency. I keep frozen banana halves in my freezer so they are always ready to go. This smoothie is on regular rotation for me in warm weather after long walks or runs.
California Green Smoothie
1 cup coconut water
1 cup spinach
½ banana, frozen
½ cup vanilla yogurt
½ cup frozen pineapple
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 scant tablespoon honey
Add all ingredients to high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
