Frozen Peach Margaritas

A hammock, palm trees, the beach, and a peach margarita sounds perfectly serene. While we may not always be able to have that combination, we can always have a peach margarita at the ready. This drink is a favorite at Friday night dinner parties after a long week and my go to margarita recipe. The reaction after first sip is typically “wow!”

For 1 margarita

½ cup frozen peaches

1 ½ oz tequila

1 oz Cointreau

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon agave

½ cup ice

lime wedge and salt for garnish (optional)

peach slices to garnish (optional)

or

For 4 margaritas

2 cups frozen peaches

¾ cup tequila

½ cup Cointreau

¼ cup fresh lime juice

¼ cup agave

2 cups ice

lime wedge and salt for garnish (optional)

peach slices to garnish (optional)

In a high-speed blender, add all the ingredients and blend using the crush speed until combined. It should look slushy. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip in salt. Pour the margarita mix into the salted glass and serve.
