Festive French Fizz

This festive cocktail combines French orange liquor, French Brandy, Champagne, and a dash of orange bitters. Garnish with a candied orange slice for a fun New Year’s Eve cocktail. The candied orange adds a touch of sweetness and keeps the drink fizzing longer. This cocktail is ideal with little plate of appetizers or with a decadent sweet treat. Santé!

Ingredients

¾ oz brandy, I used St-Remy 

¼ oz Grand Marnier

1 cup Champagne, or Prosecco

dash of orange bitters

candied orange slices (found at Trader Joe’s)

Directions

In a cocktail shaker, add ice, brandy, Grand Marnier, and dash of orange bitters. Shake and pour into a cocktail glass. Top with 1 cup of chilled Champagne. Garnish with a candied orange slice.
