Golden Milk Turmeric Latte
Golden milk lattes have been popping up at coffee shops more and more over the last few years. I was curious about them so did some research. Also, I learned turmeric has many health benefits including aiding in inflammation, anxiety, and increasing antioxidants in the body. I tested out quite a few versions and landed on this combination. It’s lightly spiced with cinnamon and vanilla and has a touch of honey. I like to drink this in the evening before bed as it is soothing, warming, and helps me sleep well.
Golden Milk Turmeric Latte Ingredients and Recipe
2 cups milk, I like oat or almond
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla
In a small pan, heat the milk over low heat. Once it is heated through, remove from heat and add in the remaining ingredients. Using a frother or whisk, stir until everything is well combined and there is froth on top. Poor into a mug and enjoy.
This makes one 16 oz drink (pictured,) or two 8 oz drinks.
